Thanksgiving is big on the Drummond ranch. After all, it’s one of the only holidays that cowboys actually take off. “Thanksgiving is one of the very few days a year when there is no ranch work. Except, of course, this meal I’m making,” says Ree Drummond, a.k.a. the Pioneer Woman of Web and Food Network fame. It’s a meal steeped in tradition. Her grandmother’s green beans and her mother-in-law’s mashed potatoes make an appearance, as do a bronzed turkey and all the fixings.
