For this recipe I used sandwich buns in place of regular bread. We had quite a few on hand, so I decided to give them a try. The consistency of the potato bread helped soak in the mixture, so it worked out really well! It was nice to try something new.

Orange Honey French Toast
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup orange juice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp honey
- 4 sandwich potato buns
In a large bowl, mix eggs, honey, vanilla, and orange juice together.
Take the top and bottom bun of the sandwich buns apart and dip into mixture and coat well. Repeat with all 4 buns.
Heat a sauté pan on med heat with a little butter to coat the pan. Place coated bun slices into the pan. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Place on a plate, top with syrup or powdered sugar and enjoy!
